The young Tamil star Karthi is all set to marry Ranjani on 3 July 2011.Ranjani, a MA English literature graduate and gold medalist from Stella Maris in Chennai.She is the daughter of Erode Chinnaswamy and Jothi Meenakshi.

Karthi's last released film was Siruthai and it was super hit at box office.
Karthi is the younger brother to Tamil super star Suriya. Suriya was married to actress Jothika in September 11, 2006 and they have two children.
